Although it marks a significant step forward in accountability, it overlooks the entire Ralph Baric link, the important question of whether SARS-CoV-2 was first developed in his lab in North Carolina, and the central role of UC Davis in managing much of the funding and coordination through USAID sponsorship.

Obwohl dies einen bedeutenden Fortschritt in Sachen Rechenschaftspflicht darstellt, wird dabei die gesamte Verbindung zu Ralph Baric übersehen, ebenso wie die wichtige Frage, ob SARS-CoV-2 ursprünglich in seinem Labor in North Carolina entwickelt wurde, und die zentrale Rolle der UC Davis bei der Verwaltung eines Großteils der Finanzierung und Koordination durch die USAID-Förderung.
